What is the MicVacsystem?
At the base of La Cuisine Culinaire is the revolutionary MicVac system, patented in Sweden. Key is the unique valve which is incorporated in the packaging foil. In the process of food preparation, as well as during later heating, the valve regulates both the supply and the discharge of air. The product stays fresh for an longer period of time, due to the vacuum packaging. When ready to eat, a clear whistling or buzzing sound can be heard. The product is never heated to short or long!
Where did this system originate?
The origins of the MicVac system lie in Sweden. This packaging technique was patented in Gothenburg (Sweden) in August 2000. After four years of further development, commercial production started in 2004 at 350.00 units a year. In 2007 these numbers had already increased to sixteen million.
Where can I buy these meals?
La Cuisine Culinaire products can be purchased at for instance Super de Boer, Poiesz, Deen, Spar and Plus Supermarkets as at several other supermarkets. They are also available at many Shell gas stations.
Are La Cuisine Culinaire meals healthy?
No artificial additives, scent- or flavour enhancers are added to La Cuisine Culinaire microwave meals and they also contain a low salt count. Because of this, our meals are as healthy as any fresh product. We solely work with fresh vegetables, which retain their vitamins due to our unique packaging procedure.
Which products contain E-numbers?
Through our unique packaging procedure our meals do not contain any E-numbers.
Do our products contain gluten or other common allergens?
